DESCRIPTION

This project is done with SOLIDWORKS software. The Shock Absorber designed in this project consists of 4 individual parts which are explained alongside their materials:

1 - Base (Material - Polished Aluminium)

2- Top Rod (Materials - Polished Aluminium & Black Medium Gloss Plastic)

3- Spring (Material - Red Medium Gloss Plastic)

4- Nut (Material - Yellow Low Gloss Plastic)

Formats of the files consist of: (.sldprt), (.sldasm), (.stp), (.stl), (.igs), (.amf), (.obj), (.mtl), (.3ds) & (.pdf). The model is then rendered in Keyshot 10 software with the relevent materials and the relevent file for executing changes has been also uploaded. All of the individual parts are designed with the part design section and assembled together in the end by using the assembly section of the software. The materials chosen for the parts, are based of the usual materials which are generally used for manufacture in the industry.
