Triphibious Ground Effect Submarine Vehicle - Concept

Triphibious Ground Effect Submarine Vehicle - Concept 3D model

Description

Triphibious Ground Effect Submarine Vehicle - Concept

The outer motors are housed inside what can be used as ballast tank, or thrust chambers, use hydrophobic materials on the rotors, seal the engines etc. the front two chamber can be lowered a little to create a hydrofoil ground effect, lifting the nose of the craft a little, for creating a better angle for the ground effect of a plane like vehicle. if we fill the chambers with water, they can serve as a ballast tank, that we can clear out again by pumping the water out, and or adding a pressurized gas inside it to force the water out. the craft can float, and also move forward as a regular speedboat. the faster we move, the more lift we generate, until the ground effect is reached, using a perfect 360 degree aerodynamic hull shape.

added two back jets for forward motion, inside are two counter spinning rotors, they can either move water or air to the back of the vehicle, explosive and quick. if the ballast tanks are filled with water, the craft becomes a super fast submarine vehicle, for underwater exploration.

there is plenty of room to make it fully electric, but we can also add normal fuel tanks into the design quite easily. same goes for battery compartments, they can be fit into the design inside the craft perfectly. in the front there could be a cabin for a pilot and crew, or RC equipment, and cameras it all depends on scale and taste for style.

Thank you very much for the additional project breakdown STL files for the Triphibious! This will allow me to fabricate a larger version of the submarine, and perhaps make it operative as well. I also want to thank you for getting back to me with the answers to my questions, and of course the solutions! Wonderful service on your part! The best to you, Rob

ok, very cool rob, nice comments, very interested to follow your project :D i wish i lived closer, to co-work on a project like this :) let me know if you run into problems. hope the parts look good in stl :)

OK! I purchased your STL files. The question I have, it came a one piece project!? I thought I read it would be broke down into 12 pieces? Could you clarify that for me? Thank you, Rob

Thank you for your purchase, The model is being sold as a "concept 3d model", not a "3d printable" model. what output would you need the pieces in? would .stl be good to have the pieces in? i can fire it up in my program here and try and output the parts as separate .stl files.. if that helps? what are the plans? because i dont know if i can still convert it to something actually printable this far down the design.

Thank you for your purchase, i have now added and exported all separate .STL files. i think i have added them to the downloadable files, so if you could check for me if the files are now there available for you. ive added a folder in the download section, hope you find them useful sir. if i can assist further, let me know.

Can you give more information? What is the size of this ship, and how many pieces are involved? Thank you, Rob

14 cm circumference. bout 12 pieces that should fit each other. it's more of a concept design, that could be much improved. the top and bottom fit together, one could let in water, for submersion... or drive the water our for moving on a surface or above it... its all about the drive train and the propeller shape here. thank you for you comment.

its scalable, all math.... any size printer actually..... its the propulsion system in the center that is most special, driving the air and water through....
