Aircraft SU-57 3D model

Description

The Su-57 (design index T-50, according to NATO codification: Felon - Criminal) is a fifth-generation Russian multifunctional fighter, created by the P.O. Sukhoi Design Bureau as part of the PAK FA complex target program. The aircraft was designed to replace the Su-27 heavy fighter in the Russian Aerospace Forces.

The T-50 made its first flight on January 29, 2010. In 2013, small-scale production of aircraft began at KnAAZ (where prototypes were assembled) for testing weapons. In the summer of 2019, the serial production of the fighter was launched; a contract is planned for the supply of 76 aircraft, which will fully equip 3 regiments. On December 25, 2020, the Russian Aerospace Forces received the first serial fighter.

The first flight of the Su-57 with the second stage engine Product 30 took place on December 5, 2017. Installation of these engines on production aircraft is planned in 2023-2025.
