Electric VTOL - Octo Cyclotron - Concept

Electric VTOL - Octo Cyclotron - Concept 3D model

Description

Electric VTOL - Octo Cyclotron - Concept / Disc Engine / Rotor Covers - Octo Cyclotron Style.Design by: Dutch Industrial Space Company.

Electric Octo Cyclotron, Most Aerodynamic, strongest deflective shape & pretty thin radar signature.

I've created golf ball dimples on the top cover for air inflow, to positively influence flight characteristics, and compressional dimples for the airflow output distribution below the craft, of the bottom engine cover.

This Octagon consisting of 8 rotors, could in turn also be repeated, as if it were to be one octagon of many. the entire design is without any real world scale. the 8 rotors for instance could be mounted one leg out of 4,6,8,16 etc. then cover the larger ship with a larger hull.Resized the dual axial flux motors and their rotor units, in order so that they could be individually turned to any angle and still fit under / inside the hood / covers. i wanted to show off and demonstrate 3 different flight modes, 1: Centripetal, 2: Forward mixed and 3: Fast forward. Also added some more details onto the craft. every object is exported into 3 formats, objects can be printed multiple times to fit model.added many wire shots, to show off the topology etc. Added Omni directional camera system, 360 above and 360 degree vision below the craft. Added strips for mounting accelerometers, protected under the hood covers. Added front light mounts or fixtures.

Wanted to finish this project before the end of this year. hope you had and have a great new year.

thanks for this years support!!! and see you in space.
