the Simplest and Easiest way to teach how to Model a Car. Pictorial illustration.. Step by Step. Low Poly 3D Car model for Gaming. Faces: 489 Verts: 551

Step 1

Pose a Box mesh.

Step 2

On the Top view.

Select: Edit Mesh/ Insert Edge Loop Tool

Step 3

Select the Edge Loop and Bevel it.

Make the Offset (0.4)

Step 4

Select the Points and adjust them slightly to the Right.

Step 5

Extrude the Top face to the Limit you want.

Step 6

Adjust the Y and X axises to be like this.

Step 7

Double click on the Edges and release (Scale) them in the Z direction.

Step 8

Select the 2 opposite Faces and scale them down in the Y axis.

Then make them in the same Level as shown.

Step 9

Scale the Faces to the opposite side.

then Extrude them to complete the Car Body.

Step 10

Select the Edges along the Car Body and move them a bit down to adjust the car shape.

Step 11

In the Panels tab, open Orthographic/ side.

Select the Vertices to move them down as shown.

Step 12

Do the same in the upper vertices

Open Edit Mesh tab to do as such

Same way to sharpen the edges of the car.

Then do the (Insert Edge Loop Tool) to all the edges found in the car model.

Select the vertices of the car body to Scale down them, to reduce the Breadth.. as shown

Step 19

Open Edit Mesh/ Interactive Split Tool to split Faces to make the Back Lights.

Step 20

You can use the Cut Faces Tool also to split faces.

now turn the car and choose the Panels tab/ Orthographic/ Side, to cut the 2 opposite faces.

now do the same in the Front Lights.

then the Side Lights of the Front ones as such.

Select the vertices shown to Scale them down.

Step 25

Split the whole Car Body to make the windows.

Then Bevel the whole edge along.

Step 26

Step 1: Select the 4 windows and Extrude them to the Inside.

Step 2: Select the front and back windows to extrude them too, and scale them to be smaller.

see Step 3..

Step 27

Time to create a Cylinder to be Wheels.

Notice the angle (90) in Z axis.

Step 28

Make the Wheel 1.8 in radius and copy it to make the 4 wheels as shown.

Step 29

Select the Car then hold (Shift) down and click on the 1st Wheel.

then click on Mesh/ Booleans/ Difference.. to make the wheel Gap.

Step 30

Do the same to the 2nd wheel as shown.

Step 31

Move the vertices to the Left to make the Back of the Car shorter than the Front.

Then choose the 6 windows to change their Color.

Make sure to go to the Rendering Tab as shown.

Step 32

Use the (Phong Material) to make the Glass.

Back again to the Lights.

Go to the Polygon Tab.. Select these vertices to Merge.

Step 35

Do the same to all the Corners of the car.

which is (Merging) the vertices as illustrated in the pictures.

Follow the arrows.

Make the Lights more accurate by cutting the Faces.. as shown.

Step 38

Choose all the Faces BUT the 6 windows.

Go to the Rendering Tab and click on the (Phong E).

Then Choose your favorite Color.

Step 39

Extrude the whole Lights.

Step 40

Begin to Color the Lights with RED as shown.

Step 41

Make sure to Choose the (Phong) to all Lights.. to make them so Shiny and Glossy.

Step 42

Then take the other Lights to be (ORANGE) as shown.

Then the (YELLOW) color

For the Doors, we have to Select the Faces to Extrude to the Inside (a little).

Step 45

Go to the Rendering Tab to choose the (Blinn).

Make the Door Locks (WHITE).. as shown.

Step 46

Place the 4 Door Locks in their correct places.

Step 47

Select the Front face and Extrude it to make the aeration openings.

Step 48

Reduce the size from X and Y axis till it become the correct size as in pic (1).

Follow the pictures.

Step 49

Go to the Side View and do as shown.. to adjust the Vertices.

Step 50

Congratulations :) this is your Last Step to have your Great Car.
