Grappling Hook Rope for Transformers Origins Jazz Free 3D print model

The origins line sure did give us a nice version of Cybertronian alt mode Jazz, and even designed accurate to his on screen look with a nice little grappling hook set too.

One little thing to make the grappling set a tad better - some rope for action poses and display !

So here's this simple enough set of said rope, which come in various straight lengths of 5cm, 10cm, 15cm and 20cm.

For 3d printing these, it is recommend to doing this horizontally on your print bed to improve robustness. And to get the bends in the rope as you like, using a heat source like a torch, heatgun or candle (carefully) and then bending the straight piece should do the trick.

After heat forming it (or leaving it straight as you like), a small little touch could be to use a fine tipped marker on the grooves along the rope to give it some visual depth. And then it's all ready to go - just pop the thicker end into the reel side, and the thinner end will fit into the hollow port of the hook piece!
