DESCRIPTION

Robert Barnby is a contemporary furniture designer with a workshop based just outside the picturesque town of Hay-on-Wye in the shadow of The Black Mountains.

Barnby Design began life in 2012 when Robert, a graduate from Nottingham Trent University, decided to produce a range of furniture offering a fresh take on the mid-century style.

Much of his work is influenced by Scandinavian and Japanese design. Clean lines and subtle details are characteristic of Rob’s style, and can be found throughout his work.Merging two natural materials we’ve combined a beautiful piece of Portuguese Calacatta marble with the subtle details of the white oiled oak frame. The Lucas Table is a unique conversational piece sure to lift any living space.
