DESCRIPTION

A complete humanoid rig for Blender, made to work specially with game engines in mind. It can be used for games, animations, posing, etc., from cartoon to realistic projects.

Features:

  • Total bones: 547 bones (131 deform bones);
  • Constraints/Drivers-based rig;
  • Control bones with custom widgets;
  • Includes a face rig;
  • Legs/arms IK/FK toggle;
  • Allows extreme stretching;
  • IK parenting to different bones;
  • Head/Neck/Spine auto-follow toggle;
  • Bones separated by layers;
  • “Meta-bones” to streamline rig setup;
  • Built-in script to toggle layers/auto adjust rig to meta-bones;
  • Quickly export to any format, no need to change bones parenting;
  • Game engines support (tested with Unity, Unreal. Not fully tested with Godot);

Updates from version 2.0:

  • Some major known issues fixed;
  • Added new functions (FK support, IK stretching toggle, IK parenting toggle);
  • Added a fully commented script for easily control/modify the rig;
  • Simplified hips/pelvis bones setup;
  • A more robust rig in general, with drivers setup for various things and a more complex hand/feet setup;
  • Bones-based interface, easy to access and animate;

Updates from hotfix 2.01

  • Head/Neck/Spine follow functions fixed (some bones were added because of this);
  • “ReferenceError: StructRNA of type Object has been removed” fixed;

File formats: .blend(Blender 2.91)

This rig is only compatible with Blender. It will not work with any other 3D software.

The additional downloads include a quick guide and a copy of the script for the rig.

Make sure to turn on “Auto Run Python scripts” for the script to run properly.
