CGTrader Left Open Beta 1

We’re extremely happy to announce CGTrader.com has left beta mode and is now operating under enhanced security requirements. We now fully ensure the security of 3D models uploaded for sale by artists as well as the reliability of financial transactions, so proudly deleted the words “open beta” from our logo (if you still see it, try to clear your cache).

The stable mode brings many security improvements and bug fixes, related to an increase in visitor traffic. Besides, we integrated an external Revit browser which now enables Revit users to publish 3D models directly from the Autodesk Revit user interface.

After a successful beta test we have succeeded in reaching the objectives in the user security, fast interface and customer orientation fields. Our technology and processes now meet business and security requirements of an online marketplace for CG artists.

What our developments in progress? We’re focused on speeding up the uploading and product description processes. We know how busy the artists are, so we work to subordinate to their busyness. The new publisher that our developers are now working on will make CGTrader.com the fastest in terms of uploading 3D models.

We also strive to improve the visibility of sellers on the Internet, so we suggest putting links to their websites, blogs or personal galleries. You know: the higher the credibility of an artist is, the more sales he makes.

Merry Christmas everyone!
