Hi guys,This Yamato model was originally designed to be printed in 1/1800 scale and measures about 146.1 cm long. You can print it a little smaller, perhaps at a minimum of 1/2200 and a maximum of 1/1250, since beyond that scale, the details will begin to be lost.
This model was originally designed to be printed on FDM printers so that fewer supports are needed; it only requires a few in the rear to hold the aircraft rails. I'm also sharing the full design with you so you can print it on a resin printer if you'd like.
It can be printed complete with its base or just the top portion for use in board games like Axies and Allies or Victory at Sea.
The base comes complete or can be divided into parts if you want to print it in multi-color.
