British Town Class Destroyer 3D print model

1/1800th scale Town class destroyer model. Certain elements not to scale.

The Town-class were a set of assorted lend-lease destroyers transferred to the United Kingdom from the United States. They were formerly of the Wickes, Clemson, and Cadwell classes and were given various refits to suit the British needs.

This model is designed and tested at 1/1800th scale, but up-scaling and down-scaling are possible. Since the model is optimized for 1/1800th scale, it is not ideal to print larger versions due to a lack of detail. The gun barrels and mast have been enlarged.

This model includes three designs, HMS Stanley from USS McCalla (Clemson Class), HMS Georgetown from USS Maddox (Wickes Class), and HMS Lewes from USS Craven (Cadwell Class).

Tested with PLA at .08mm layer height with .4mm nozzle.
