Claybud is a newborn stone-sapling: a seated infant golem whose head is a single sprouted grain. Claybud naps in hollowed roots and cradles, soaking up the grove’s slow heartbeat: each time it stirs, a faint green fuzz and micro-roots flicker across its shoulders.
