Sapwyrm is the emerging stage of the groveborn golems, a small seated figure whose headgrain has sprouted into slender, twisting shoots. Its body shows increased clay-hardening and veins of sap pulse faintly through its limbs, hinting at the life force within. Tiny green tendrils and shoots begin to protrude like hair and whiskers, giving it a more animated, almost serpentine appearance. Sapwyrms are playful yet cautious, testing their connection to the soil and the surrounding flora. Folklore says that when a Sapwyrm stretches its limbs, the surrounding grove hums softly, responding to its budding energy.
