Rootkin represents the maturing stage of the stone-sapling golems. Its seated form is sturdier, with clay-reinforced limbs and a headgrain that has sprouted into a small, twisting shoot. Tiny roots and vines begin to entwine around its body like protective armor, connecting it to the earth beneath. Rootkin are quiet observers of the grove, absorbing the slow rhythm of nature and slowly gaining the strength to interact with other beings. Legends say that a Rootkin’s first gentle movements can awaken dormant seeds and awaken hidden life in the soil around it.
