DESCRIPTION

70 Pine Street (formerly know as the American International Building) is a 952 ft (290m) tall building in downtown New York City. One of New York's finest examples of art deco architecture, 70 Pine St stood as one of the tallest buildings in the world for decades, and the tallest building in Manhattan's Financial District until the construction of the World Trade Center. Today the building functions as a recently-converted luxury residential tower.
