Wolverine Cowl (90's Animated) 3D Print Files (X-Men: The Animated Series/X-Men '97/Marvel Comics)

The cigar smoking, straight talking, motorcycle riding, weapon X embodying, adamantium skeleton coating, razor sharp clawing, Canadian Mutant bad ass himself; Wolverine! (And ahem… the Best X man!)

Logan is my nephews namesake and my sister and I grew up watching the X men cartoon together every Saturday morning so he’s a character close to our hearts. When everyone else was printing the ‘Deadpool Vs Wolverine’ live action one, we wanted to create a proper animated style version of his iconic cowl and bring it to life.

We’ve included two version of the fins; one perfectly smooth and the other and awesome leather texture one.

As it is a rigid helmet and to achieve a snug fit, the main yellow cowl is separated into three parts to get it on and off your head, as well as each black fin and chin strap and it all joins together with 136 x (10mm x 2mm) Flat disc style Neodymium magnets. We recommend using high grade magnets with a pull of 2kg. If so, you will only need half the amount of magnets! The extra holes are there to allow for lower grade magnets. The chin strap uses 12 x (4mm x 8mm) cylindrical Neodymium magnets. (Please Note - if you scale the print to a different size you may need to adjust your magnet sizes).

The fins have been specially designed to be light enough where you can glue them to the yellow cowl if you choose and the magnets will hold fine so you have fewer parts but keeping them separate helps to align everything when putting on/off as the yellow nose stripe hooks under the bridge of the nose to hide the seam.

For painting, as all the coloured parts of the cowl are separate, the only masking you’ll need to do is for the small centre yellow nose stripe which joins onto the left fin.

If you prefer a finer mesh for the eyes than the parts included we recommend using regular window fly screen.
