Dutch Swordfish class submarine for rc 1-50 scale 3D print model

The Sworfish class (Zwaardvisklasse) is a submarine designed by the Dutch and made in the Netherlands. The design is inspired by the US Barbel Class but isn't the same.

The sclass contains 2 ships en both are built from 1966-1972.

The Diesel electric submarine has 6 torpedo-tubes and is capable of launching torpedo's.

Length: 66,8 m Width: 8,4m Speed: 20 knts submerged, 12knts surfaced. Test depth 220m+

2 slightly modified submarines of this class are made for the Taiwanese navy (Hai Lung Class) . 4 more were ordered but the deal was cancelled under pressure of the Chinese government.

The submarines were decommissioned in 1995.

The 3d model is 133,6 cm long and designed for a 100mm WTC (not included in the files)

Some experience with building RC subs is preferred.

The model is printable in smaller size/scale but some parts need maybe some tweaking then.

Most parts without support, the sail is best printed with support.
