Skis for Traxxas Stampede 2WD 12mm Hex 3D print model

These skis can work in snow and sand. They work best on hard, packed, slippery surfaces like ice. For added traction, use paddle tires for the rear wheels. You don't need them however. These simply mount on the RC car like a wheel. See below for detailed instructions on everything and see the above for detailed pictures of installation, printing, and assembly.

**Slight assembly required. These skis are designed with 2 parts so if one part breaks, you don't need to print the whole thing again, just one part.

**To print it: **See the pictures for printing instructions. Print the mount for either the left or right, on it's side with the hex pointing up. No supports required. The ski needs to be printed on it's thin side. Using a brim and slow speeds, it should stick to the build plate. I used masking tape on the build plate to ensure that it remains on the build plate

**To assemble it: **See the above pictures in order starting where it says Assembly Instructions (Demonstrated on the right wheel in the pictures). For the left ski, have the rectangle on the ski be one the right. Then the left mount should align so the hex points to the right. If you have a m4 tap, use it in the 2 small holes at the bottom. If not, you don't really need it. I just screwed in the screws into the plastic so that the mount is connected firmly to the ski. For the right ski, place the ski with the rectangle to the left. Place the right mount on top of the rectangle so that the hex points to the left. Then screw it onto the ski as you did with the left ski. Now you're done assembling them!

**Mounting it to the RC Car: **See the above pictures in order starting where it says Mounting Instructions (Demonstrated with the left ski). All what you need to do now is mount them to the RC car and you're done! These simply mount on the RC car like a wheel. You remove the one hex nut holding the front wheel and then take off only the wheel. Then, put the ski on the place where the wheel was mounted and align the 12mm hex with the 12mm hex on the ski. Repeat for the other side. Because the tolerances are set to .5mm, it easily slides into place. Don't overtighten the nut, it's only plastic that you are tightening.

They might fit on a Traxxas Slash or other 1/10 scale RC cars, I haven't tried it as I don't have any other 1/10 scale RCs. Most 1/10 scale RCs with 12mm hex hubs, should work.
