In the spirit of Alien, here is an articulated dragon that has full articulation not just in the tail and body but in the legs, feet, arms, hands, and neck! Print right from the file with no supports, as critical ones are already built into the model.
Hints for best printing:PLA or PLA+ - I used ANYCUBIC brand and used the midrange temp. of 210 deg C , 60C Deg bed.Layer height 0.14 for fine detailsSpeed 180 mm/s on an Anycubic Kobrax Max 2 - Slower is more reliable however.Lower file -0.5 on the Z axis placement to ensure full contact with the bed.Z offset -0.25 to ensure good bond to bed. I even put a thin coat of ABS glue (thinned with acetone) down on my bed for added insurance. After printing, remove the supports under the chin and tail. Cut the heel free from the calf with an xacto knife. For the hneck, hip and shoulder sockets, push INWARDS to the body and slowly twist incrementally with small back and forth motions until the ball breaks free from the surrounding sockets=.
