DESCRIPTION

Modeling scale: H0 (1:87)The catenery mast should be printed with a 0.2 mm layer, while the traction hangers should be printed with a 0.1 mm layer. The base of the mast should be printed with filament marble.Note: I fully realize that the hanger elements are too thick, but this technology (FDM) does not allow printing strong elements that are smaller. The assumption was that commercially available catenary wires could be stably mounted on these mast. Since I've made the individual elements available separately, you can try printing them in resin, but I wanted to create a complete collection of traction poles that can be printed by owners of FDM printers. This is a very difficult print. You need to set the retraction parameters correctly so that there are as few threads as possible, and also dry the filament well before printing. Despite this, you will still have to cut out the threads left inside the print with a scalpel. The next issue is the correct setting of the first print layer. If you flatten the first layer too much, leaving the so-called 'elephant's foot', it will be visible as a faulty printed front of the traction mast. The support element '3_SupportsS(or)M(or)L - file4printing(layer0.2).stl' is included in three lengths. You should print all three and choose the right one so that the '4_boom' is placed horizontally after gluing it.
