Room Scale Augmented Reality Portal - Concept 3D print model

Description

Room scale Augmented Reality Portal - Concept.

6D projector environment + 2x stereoscopic object/subject/actor digital cutout overlay - 2x top bottom 360 dome heads rotate locked as one together and move actors stereoscopic image along horizon wall as a horizontally, individually movable, cutout signal.

Room scale Augmented Reality 4k Video Portal - 6D projector projecting a 360 degree spherical environment centrally placed, outward to all 6 walls + 2x stereoscopic dome projectors, projecting object or actor overlay on top of back ground. 2x top and bottom 360 dome projector heads rotate together vertically and move full stereoscopic image of actor along horizon wall as cutout signal. CPU built in can overlay facial tik-tok like funny scary etc. effects on top of actor signal. facial or full body changes can be made to appearances with Ai generated filters.

Description concept:Our entire square rooms walls can become a full 360 degree immersive video portal into another mans space, if he had a similar wall portal mirror, audio video setup, and the same proportions were used will result in a mirror portal from the other side. this way people can choose to live wall to wall with each other, like living next to your neighbor, with out a wall in between. this would be cool with friends, just sharing their morning ritual, in a mirrored or optically doubled space, sort of like sharing a personal space together, as both images would appear to be linked as one virtual larger shared room, with a invisible mirror wall in between.

It would be cool to have a single device 4k projector, projecting the other sides video signal, onto my video wall, stereoscopically, overlaid over a 360 degree beautiful self selected beautiful high resolution virtual video background environment. we could even use facial and location detection, having actually projected perspectives move with the observer in relation to the portal, further enhancing the transcendental portal experience. maybe a beautiful thin bevel can be placed on a single wall, or just a retractable video projector screen would already do perfectly fine.

Note:Important is the software side, for setting up a video call with friends that share the same device setup. it needs to be secure between friends that share the same portal system, so we can have and use fixed dimensions and distances etc. for creating nice artificial video overlay effects. we can become as ghostly spirits, white golden backlight outlined, translucency effects... digital make up, blush removal for the perfectionists out there. color corrections, map displays between users spaces, enhancements etc. etc.

Technical:6D box holds all hidden tech, hanging as a single system from ceiling. the 6D box had top and bottom domed rotating 360 stereoscopic projectors. make a cool design for the device. maybe place a open listing or screen on a wall to place the actors signal into, like something beautiful, or a circle. this would mark a good spot for projecting into a friends face or entire body.

1 sky projector signal for the sky.1 floor projector signal for the floor.4x walls texture signal for the floor.

= 1x 360 degree spherical video signal need, divided over 6 sides of a room, projected as one spherical image across the entire room.

laterally locked gimbal dome head projector, able to project a video cutout of the other user, overlaid onto the wall texture signals, can move the actor around horizontally 360 degrees the room. we can project a full 360 degree spherical image onto a room using 6 individual projectors. this way we only need 8 laser projectors in total. 6 for the rooms ambient background, and 2 for the red and blue stereoscopic image forming a movable 3d video overlay. no need to wear any headset, nor even glasses, although it could add yet another layer of immersion to the full experience, of course. in principle, no glasses or headset is need for this 360 degree room scale experience. we can now take full control of our 360 degree virtual environment.

Part list:

1x fixed core part 4x projector fixed voor background2x fixed motor part met 2x motor voor rotation stereoscopic overlay.2x rotating parts, holding two projectors, one each, one red and one blue part of the 3d stereoscopic image that we wish to move along the horizon.2x fixed tops, 2x fixed projectors for ceiling and floors, up and down of the room scale image.1x CPU processor, or small scale computer Itx, built into system.7 parts to be 3d printed, 4 original 3d printable parts, 3 of them doubled prints, 8 projectors needed per system, 2 motors needed per system. all parts can be printed in one printing, laid out on a single print bed, for speed. or go larger and use more printers.8x protectors must be small and cheap at first, to demonstrate the concept being super nice. find out costs from china, Pico projectors, remove hulls.

Production cost:find out exact 3d printed part costs, used filament, Time used, calculate. find two simple suitable cheap motors, simple, silent, fast, we lock their axis together internally, so that they both move horizontally in a fixed and locked position, with stereoscopic inter pupillary distance locked in. so we can move subject along horizon where in our own room we want to project it on a single walls location. a cylindrical or spherical room would be an even nicer full room scale media consumption room, but it will work inside a box. as long as we place a nice 360 degree leather executive chair in the center below the room scale projector.
