Here’s a custom project I recently worked on: a fastening element from the roof-opening mechanism of a Bolgar TK 80 tractor. The original part had become brittle and started crumbling, so I took on the challenge to restore and improve it.I made an exact copy of the component but enhanced it with additional reinforcements and thicker walls to ensure greater durability. The part was printed using a high-strength polymer with UV protection, making it robust and resistant to environmental factors. Thanks to the simple design of the component, the reverse engineering process was quick and efficient, delivering a strong, reliable replacement part in no time. This project proves that even seemingly simple designs can make a big difference when enhanced with the right materials and techniques. What do you think about this upgrade?#3DPrinting #ReverseEngineering #CustomParts #TractorRepair #BolgarTK80 #InnovationInFarming #StrongAndReliable
3D printing settingsI recommend to use PETG, ASA or other strong materials to improve strength. Adjust minimun 6 walls, 8 top and bottom layers. NO need supports!
