Hello,
this is a small model of a simple game called Tivoli. It is, say, a desktop version of it ;).The Tivoli or “Tiv” was a game that incorporated marbles cascading through a maze of pins to fall into numbered areas. The numbers can correspond to prizes or in the case of multiple marbles dropping, are added together for a total. The Tivoli Is A Vintage Carnival Game.
The model is very simple and easy to print in one go - small legs and release system is integrated into the design. Legs are printed upside down near the body connected to it with a thin brim, that - after the print - serves as a hinge and allows legs to be turned and glued to the body from below. Thus the position of the legs is secured as well. Then remove small lip at the end of release tab. It just helped to print release tab without peeling off of the build plate. Then carefully separate release tab from the plate. Plate serves here as a support. Printing takes about 1h20m.
Try to play with colors during the print, e.g. print bottom plate with one color and the rest (pins, walls) with another one.
Hooks on the right side of the body you can use to attach a rubber band, which would increase the strength of launch. The diameter of a marble should be about 8mm.
