Straight from the wilds of the Eocene comes the great Mesonyx, the so called 'hoofed wolf' of the early Age of Mammals. While it shared similarities to the later-evolved canids of the past and present, Mesonyx was not a carnivoran but a Mesonychid, a group distantly related to even-toed hoofed mammals such as sheep and goats. Rather than claw-tipped paws, Mesonyx walked with stubby hooves, giving it great traction as a hunter, and now this gone-but-not-forgotten beast of the early Cenozoic comes back to life in 1/12 scale!
The following model and individual parts are designed to be printed in either raw or polished SLS Nylon from sites such as Sculpteo, however any other printing process and scaling has not been tested, so print at your own discretion when doing any process besides raw/polished SLS Nylon. This item is not for children under 18yrs old due to small parts that can present choking hazards, and will require snipping or cutting tools for assembly.
When using SLS Nylon from sites such as Sculpteo, only use raw or polished finishes for either PA12 or PA12 (HD-60μm). Avoid using Chemically-Smoothed option as this will cause joints to be too loose and will not hold poses. No other materials have been tested for this print, be it professional or home-printers, so print and experiment at your own discretion.
