Kingston HyperX Cloud 2 Hinge

Kingston HyperX Cloud 2 Hinge 3D print model

Description

If you own a pair of HyperX cloud 2 and your hinge broke, search no more - You found the FIX! The only issue is that you need to have a 3d Printer, but i guess you wouldnt be searching 3d models if you dont.

I have searched what i think of all the web for this specific type of model and couldnt find it, i even tried to order from anywhere in the world who would provide the spare part but without any success. So i took the time and designed the hinge perfectly - which means it will fit like a glove to your headset. I am sure that you will see that the printed part will be way stronger than the original.

I used PLA Plus for the ones that i printed.

I had basically 3 issues with this model: - The 2 "poles" on one part are too long, the parts CAN'T fit together. You have to cut them away. - hole diameter is too big, screws don't get a grip. I had to use bigger screws I luckily had on hand. - When I pay for a replacement part model, I don't want it to show the logo of the designer on the outside. - There was no text explaining that you have to print the parts mirrored for one side of the headset, otherwise the cable won't fit. - the outside is just a rectangular box. At least the edges could have been made round - it just looks cheap and not like the original. All in all no big flaws if this part was for free - but if you have paid for it, the demands are higher.
