This is a digital 3D printable model of Locomotive. The train is designed as a DIY project to create  a homemade air humidifier. Humidifiers create a comforting indoor chumidity that can soothe dry skin and help you breathe more easily. Some houseplants like increased humidity as well.  The locomotive humidifier is also a nice decoration for your home.

The download contains pieces of the model ready to be 3D printed on a 200 mm print bed and also files that are not cut into smaller pieces. All cut parts are placed on the print bed as we would print them to save you time.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONSThere are 2 versions of the locomotive 3D model. One contains a water container, which you’ll insert into the locomotive. When printed correctly, the container won’t leak.The other version consists of 2 pieces (top and bottom) of the locomotive, which require waterproof gluing. We recommend applying a coat of epoxy resin to the inside of the locomotive to ensure the 3D printed train is genuinely waterproof.In order to create a functional humidifier, you’ll need a USB powered humidifier diffuser. 3D PRINTING SETTINGS

For the water container:

• Turn off the top layer
• Infill 0%
• Increase wall thickness to 3 or 4 perimeters
• Bottom layer 4 perimeters

For the rest od the model: (We use these settings for most of our prints)

• Layer height 0.2 mm
• Infill 15%
• Supports 45°

This model is meant to be post-processed after printing. This can be gluing, sanding, painting, etc.

Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.
