Touka is a girl whose beauty is remembered on several occasions. Her distinctive feature is the long fringe that covers one eye. She looks a lot like her mother Hikari, and especially when they were younger, Touka and her brother Ayato resembled each other to the point that Banjou had mistaken her for his brother. After the Aogiri bow her hair is longer, in fact it reaches her shoulders.

On the surface she shows herself as an ordinary girl with a sweet temper, so that no one can suspect her true nature as a ghoul. Normally, excluding work and school uniforms, he prefers to wear practical and comfortable clothes in his free time.

When he masquerades as Rabbit, his alter-ego ghoul, he wears a long black coat, with his rabbit mask and wig (blonde or pink) to keep his identity a secret.
