Snorlax (カビゴン, Kabigon in Japanese) is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I.

Snorlax has a body that is mostly made up of its belly, as it only wakes up to eat and rarely exercises. Its head is large, and it has two pointy protruding teeth. Its feet are very large in order to provide balance compared to most Pokémon. His arms are short, however, they are long enough to reach out to pick up his food, grab his lunch, and put it in his mouth. Snorlax has a large belly that provides large amounts of defense. It is dark blue in color and in the middle of the cream-colored belly.

Snorlax eats many kilos of food a day, all he will do is lie down to sleep until he wakes up again from hunger. When this Pokémon sleeps, if it is woken up for any reason, it will get very angry and attack fiercely, although after a while it will go back to sleep. Also if he wakes up he can mistake the first thing he sees for food. Apparently, Snorlax has the ability to make trees grow faster after destroying them and eating their fruit. Snorlax eat everything that is edible, they are not really very picky as their digestive juices can dissolve anything even poisons, so it doesn't matter if the food is already spoiled or lying on the ground. Upon finding something new in its territory, a Snorlax will put it in its mouth to see if it's something it can eat. As he gets fatter he becomes lazier, some believe his screams are his snoring and others the growling of his hungry stomach. It is a docile Pokémon, many children often use its big belly as a play area, although you have to be careful not to be crushed when it turns.

Snorlax always has his eyes closed even when he is awake, so it is very difficult to see him with his eyes open. He has only been seen with his eyes open in his regression animation to the Poké Ball in Pokémon Stadium. Snorlax is often found in the mountains and forests. However, sometimes he wanders in the streets of the cities, he even sleeps in them, violently cutting off the traffic.

Snorlax tiene un cuerpo que se compone principalmente por su vientre, ya que sólo se despierta para comer y rara vez hace ejercicios. Su cabeza es grande, y tiene dos dientes puntiagudos que sobresalen. Sus pies son muy grandes con el fin de proporcionar equilibrio en comparación con la mayoría de Pokémon.
