Steampunk Cruiser

Steampunk Cruiser 3D model

Description

This is an original model I created originally for the CGTrader watercraft challenge. I was inspired here by the works of Albert Robida. The model was created with Lightwave. UV maps were unwrapped with 3D-Coat. Textures were made in Lightwave, then baked and enhanced in substance designer and substance painter. Final renders were made in Lightwave 11.6.

Important notice : this model is not intended to be used with another package than Lightwave. It takes heavily advantage fo LW 11+ nodal textures, and it is common to have on a material several layers mixing different UV-maps (for instance, for tiled textures and for painted weathering details). The scene has been packaged to have in a single correct location all needed objects, images and scene. The boat come in two layers, on for the dreadnought, and one for the safety boat which can be placed correctly or used separately if needed.

People who would need a conversion for another package like .OBJ or .FBX : feel free to contact me, but some of the details I created here with the textures would require in the end some manual tweaking, even if reduced to a minimum.
