DESCRIPTION

The type VII_C was a bit larger than the type VII and was also more sea worthy, it became the model for large oceanic submarines. Despite it, the discovery of radar and sonar, soon overcome the visual detection means the subs had, and this lead to their defeat. The model shows the main new features like the snorkel, the larger sail and heavy guns mounted on it, or the internal aft torpedo tube.
