DESCRIPTION

2EC6 Sinara (2 - number of sections, E - electric locomotive, C - sectional, 6 - model number (6th series)) - cargo two-section eight-axle main electric locomotive DC voltage 3 kV with collector traction motors. The electric locomotive is produced in the city of Verkhnyaya Pyshma by the Urals plant of railway engineering, which is part of ZAO Sinara Group, since 2006. In total by May 2018, no less than 770 electric locomotives of this series were built.
