Updated (January 2, 2024): Optimized performance, Geometry Nodes processing speed increased ~600%. Testing on the Predator Helios 300 Laptop configuration (RTX 3060, i7-11800H, 32gb RAM) showed that Geonodes's latency decreased from 7256ms to 1389ms.

TURN EVERY BLOCKS INTO YOUR SPACESHIP
- Blocks to Spaceships: Easily create your own unique spaceship by creating any block in Edit mode of the Geometry Nodes object.
- Adjust parameters: You can edit and create different variations by adjusting Geometry Nodes parameters. To access the parameter table, click on the object, switch to the Modifier tab, the Geometry Nodes table is located here. Here you can customize their shape, number of details, and overall color of each part.
- Adjust procedural shaders: If the material parameters at Geometry Nodes are not enough for your editing needs, you can further customize the shaders. All spaceship Materials are procedural shaders, so you can customize them to your liking. To do that, go to the Material Properties tab, then select a material, and you can edit the parameters of that shader node.
FAQ
- In which Blender versions does Spaceship Generator work? This tool currently compatible with Blender 3.6 and Blender 4.0. I will continue to work on making it compatible with future versions of Blender as well.
- My software lags and delays a few seconds when I change the values of the parameters, is it normal? That is completely normal, because this geometry nodes has a lot of heavy nodes such as mesh boolean, so the computer needs some time to process and update them.
- Can I export the spaceships to other 3D software? You can easily apply and export the spaceship mesh. However, material is Blender's exclusive shader mechanism, so I don't have an effective way to export it outside of Blender.
