Engine cylinder with piston and valves animated 3D model

Animated model of 4-stroke diesel engine cylinder. Includes correct animation of piston, valves, injector and fire simulation!

To change the animation, you only need to animate rotation of Dummy_crankshaft object with any animation curve, other parts of mechanism will move automatically, including fire! Sequence of simulation files, created with Phoenix FD plugin, is included.

Such easy way of animation became possible because of system of Reaction and Expressions controllers of animated objects, that depends only from one master object Dummy_crankshaft.

So you can make interesting effect of accelerating / decelerating animation in only a few seconds, even fire sequence playback speed connected to the master object, by controlling input with expression controllers!

Scene ready for render with Vray renderer, fire created with Phoenix FD plugin.
