Engine Inline Four-Cylinder 3D model

Highly-detailed inline four-cylinder internal combustion engine modeled in Carrara 4.0 and provided in .CAR, .3DS, and .OBJ formats. Perfect for cutaway mechanical illustrations and animations!

The complete assembly includes all items shown: • Pistons, rings, and pins • Connecting rods and bolts • Crank shaft, mounts, and bolts • Cam shaft, mounts, and bolts • Valves and springs • Timing pulleys and belts • Drive pulleys and fan belt • Spark plugs

Bolts and bolt holes feature simplified 3D threads. Valve springs are provided in both the compressed and relaxed states. Assembly can be broken down into its individual components. Cast and machined surfaces are broken apart to allow quick texturing without having to manipulate UV mapping.

Works in all major 3D programs. Provided in three formats. Uses only basic shaders; no texture maps required. Materials are included in the native .CAR version only. No plug-ins required for any version.
