Originally modeled in Autodesk Maya 2013. Final images rendered with Keyshot. The Autodesk Maya zip file contains Keyshot and standard materials scenes.

  • High quality polygonal model - correctly scaled accurate representation of the original objects.
  • Model resolutions are optimized for polygon efficiency.
  • All colors can be easily modified.
  • Model is fully textured with all materials applied.
  • All textures and materials are included and mapped in every format.
  • Autodesk Maya models grouped for easy selection & objects are logically named for ease of scene management.
  • No namespace issues when importing several models into a scene.
  • No cleaning up necessary, just drop model into your scene and start rendering.
  • No special plugin needed to open scene.

File formats:

  • Autodesk Maya Mb Scene
  • FBX (Multi Format)
  • Keyshot 4.2

Every model has been checked with the required software.

Textures formats:

Warning: Depending on which software package you are using, the exchange formats (.obj, .3ds and .fbx) may not match the preview images exactly. Due to the nature of these formats there may be some textures that have to be loaded by hand and possibly triangulated geometry.

Hoo boy. so, in some parts, this has got to have some of the strangest edge flow I've ever seen, it's like abstract art and I really cant tell in some areas what they were even going for. I mean, yeah I could kinda tell that looking at the wireframe on the product page but now that I have the file open I'm really seeing it. Also it seems like a pretty good chunk of the polycount is going to that chain. So I am trying to work with this on getting it cleaned up, removing the chain was my first step since I can't really rig that anyway (I'm gonna use a shader), this is not particularly well organized into separate meshes so I had to manually select the actual faces for each little part of the chain. and now I'm going around it and retopologizing areas here and there, mostly on the plastic body parts to get those to some kind of shape that I can work with, mayas auto retopology is helping speed that process up a lot. The UV's look pretty OK, but Im probably gonna redo them anyway just cause I'm particular about UV's. Poly count is also off, I'm looking at about 125k after what I've cleaned up, so way off from the 92k I think the description stated, but I could be misremembering. For 25 bucks it certainly saves me time from doing this from scratch but I wouldn't say its ready to use and is gonna need extensive cleanup if you want to actually use it for anything that people are gonna look at.
