Three Wheel Windmill 3D model

The large wheel is 20.5” in diameter, middle wheel is 15” in diameter and the small wheel is 12” in diameter. Two wheels spin in the same direction and the middle wheel spins opposite of the front and back wheels. The paddles are set at 10 degrees as set by the pegs that fit into the hubs. Mount the wheels on a 1/8” diameter stainless rod. Bend about 6” long at 90 degrees for mounting the three wheels. Use a Stainless Steel Axle Shaft Locking Stop Collar ID 0.125 (1/8) inch to capture the three wheels on the shaft.3D Print the following using ABS filament for outdoor usage:

8 each Back Paddles8 each Middle Paddles8 each Front small Paddles.1 each Back Paddle Hub.2 each Front and Middle Paddle Hubs.8 each Back Paddle Pegs These pegs are ½” square.16 each Front and Middle Pegs. These pegs are 3/8” square.

Glue the pegs into the hub peg slots. Make sure to get them seated all the way in by carving the slots if necessary or filing or sanding them to fit. Let the assembly dry for a day.Glue the paddles into the peg holder slots and let dry.With all three wheels assembled, place them on the stainless steel rod and secure them with the Stainless Steel Axle Shaft Locking Stop Collar.You are done. CONGRATULATIONS on completing your project.Note: How you want to make the colors for each paddle is your call. You could use different filament colors. I chose to pick my colors from the Home Depot Paint Department and samplers at about $6 per sampler and I had 8 colors that I painted the ABS pads with.
