Description

This is a model of the Earth that I made in blender 2.83. It comes with 2 maps, one of the planet itself and one for a cloud layer. On top of that, there is a plugin that does an accurate representation of the Earth's atmosphere. This can be tweaked in the shader editor so that you can change the amount of absorption you get from the sun. This plugin will generate natural sunsets when the light goes through more parts of the atmosphere. There is also a map for city lights. As the sun is moved the parts of the earth that are dark will show the lights as would happen in the normal world. Each layer can be turned off as you want so this is a very flexible model.
