DESCRIPTION

This machine is a guillotine-style cutting system designed for trimming circular saw blades used in large log-cutting operations during their manufacturing process. The system, which I designed, precisely, safely, and efficiently cuts high-strength steel saw blades down to specified dimensions, shaping them into their final form.

The machine operates with a powerful cutting unit that moves vertically from top to bottom, developed to split or shorten the saw blade exactly to the required size. The cutting force is provided via hydraulic cylinders or a mechanical press system. Safety features and clamping mechanisms are integrated to minimize sparks and deformation during the cutting process.
