DESCRIPTION

3D models of the right shoulder bones, ligaments and muscles.

Two versions inlcuded - Cross section verion - through the glenohumeral joint to show the ligaments and rotator cuff,Full version of the muscles and glenohumeral ligaments - uncut.The original base CT scan data of the bones was from a young (20-30s) female and the ligaments were sculpted from observing a dissection.Ligaments include: Acromioclavicular, Coracoacromial, Coracohumeral, Superior Glenohumeral, middle glenohumeral, inferior glenohumeral, the fasciculus obliquus, Trapezoid, Conoid, and superior transverse ligament. I have also include the cartilage for the humeral head and glenoid foss and the labrum. I've combined the Glenohumeral, coracohumeral, coracoglenoid and fasciculus obliquus together for realism.Muscles inlcude: Subscapularis, Infraspinatus, Supraspinatus, Teres Minor and Biceps BrachiiBones inlcude: Humerus, scapula and clavicle

Sculpted using a CT scan of the humerus, scapula and clavicle as a base following by mesh clean up and detailing added using the real physical bones themselves. The detailing was added in Zbrush.UVs made in Blender.Base color, normal, displacement and specular maps baked in Zbrush from polypainted high-resolution sculpt.

|| Polygon Count ||

Low-resolution meshs : 520,869 polys

|| Textures||

All textures are 8KDisplacement files are .bmpColour, specular and normal maps are.pngs

|| Other relevant notes ||

The Blender scene file included has been optimized for rendering with Cycles.

Includes: Render-ready Blender and Cinema 4D scenes with HDRI set up. Zbrush file has the original sculpt with 4-6 subdivisions and bake textures.

|| Model formats ||

*.fbx (Multi Format) *.obj (Multi Format) *zpr (Multi Format) *.blend (Blender 4.01) *.c4d (Cinema 4D 22024.02)

Renders were created in Blender using Cycles (environment is included in the blender file)

If you need any other formats we are more than happy to make them for you.

We really appreciate you choosing our 3D models and good luck with your projects.

No unsupported objects
Unsupported objects:
- Lights
- Cameras
Learn more
Geometry
No N-gons
N-gons are polygons with five or more sides which might cause issues in certain processes like rendering or animation. Learn more
No faceted geometry
Faceted geometry uses flat surfaces without smoothing, which can look unrealistic on curves.
Learn more
Manifold geometry
Manifold geometry ensures all surfaces are properly connected, avoiding issues like edges shared by more than two faces.

Textures & material
PBR textures
PBR textures simulate how light interacts with materials, making the model look realistic under different lighting.
Required PBR textures:
- Base Color
- Roughness
- Metalness
- Normal
Learn more
No embed textures
Embedded textures are stored inside the model file, increasing its size and sometimes causing compatibility issues.
Learn more
Square textures
Texture aspect ratio is the width-to-height ratio of a texture. Expected texture aspect ratio: 1:1
Learn more
Power of 2 texture sizes
Textures with dimensions in power of two (e.g. 512x512px, 1024x1024px) are used to optimize performance and memory usage.
Learn more
Assigned materials
Materials are applied to the 3D model to allow visualize a model's surface properties and appearance.
Learn more
UVs & naming
No UV overlaps
UVs overlap when multiple points on the 3D model's surface are mapped to the same point on the UV island causing texture stretching.
Learn more
UV unwrapped model
A UV unwrapped model means its 3D surface is flattened into 2D space, allowing textures to be applied accurately.
