Description

2D Inverted Precision Gyroscope Concept.

if there were two counterspinning rotators, e.g. discs or plates, with gears and ball bearings connecting them, we could attach two strings, to be pulled with one hand. both strings would need to be wound around the top and bottom vertical axis in a different direction, yet one hand can pull them both, creating a double inverted spinning top. this system would have less or even no precession as both counterspinning plates now balance each other out.

a normal gyroscope spins in one direction only, causing a unwanted effect called precession.this is a video of Nasa demonstrating the problem.
