Stipa Pony Tails is a beautiful, picturesque grass with very thin leaves and loose, airy inflorescence panicles. One of the most beautiful ornamental grasses with an extremely original shape. With each gust of wind, it shows a different side of its wonderful beauty. During flowering, already in June, loose, hair-like inflorescences appear on the tops of the leaves. It reaches a height of up to 60 cm, but due to its light, airy shape with hanging leaves, it gives the impression of a low grass.For cultivation, choose a sunny and warm place with well-drained soil. The soil should be humus, permeable and constantly, moderately moist. It is a plant resistant to diseases and pests and quite resistant to frost, provided that it is provided with good growing conditions. Stipa winters well in our conditions because it is completely frost-resistant.
