The Panzerkampfwagen VIII Maus was a super-heavy tank designed by Nazi Germany during the Second World War. Its development began in 1942 under the direction of Porsche and Krupp, with final plans completed in 1943. Two prototypes were ordered, but due to heavy Allied bombings on Krupp’s facilities, part of the documentation and production capacity was lost. The project faced multiple delays and was ultimately deprioritized. By 1944, the first complete Maus prototype was finished. At the end of the war, Soviet forces captured the turretless first prototype and mounted the turret from the second one, creating the only surviving Maus tank, which was partially damaged.
This model is a realistic and detailed representation of the Panzer VIII Maus, created using Blender and based on historical references and surviving technical data. It is suitable for rendering, simulations, videogames, and 3D printing.
