A game ready PBR axe model. Softwares used: Blender (Modelling, Rendering (EEVEE)) Marmoset Toolbag 4 (Baking, Rendering) Substance Painter (Texturing)
The main renders I have attatched were done with Marmoset Toolbag 4, I also included some EEVEE previews to demonstrate some other angles and in different environments. I showcased the wireframe for each of the renders so you are able to see how the low-poly topology works and if it is suitable for your needs.
All textures are 2048x2048 and the maps included are: Base color, height, metallic, normal, and roughness.
I manually sculpted some high poly details which were then later baked down onto the low poly mesh for optimization and ease of texturing. This allowed me to retain the high detail while keeping a low poly count.
The model is all one object and one texture set. Has 744 tris and is triangulated so is ready for use in a game engine without issues.
The UV unwrapping was performed in Blender in combination with the use of UVPackMaster 2 to pack efficiently and maximize texture space optimization.
I made sure to include both .FBX and .OBJ file types as well as a .blend file containing the model with textures already setup.
The normal map format is DirectX you may need to invert the Y channel depending on the engine that you are using. In the example .blend file I have included, it has been inverted in the node setup.
