The textures and materials are designed and set up in a way that the assets look highly detailed from far and very close distances.

You can

  • completely change the way the cliffs and rocks look by changing the textures in the material.
  • scale meshes up and down without the quality loss at a short distance, because of the tileable textures.
  • add or remove the moss and snow layers.

  • Images were rendered in Cycles.
  • The sample scene is not(!) included in any of the formats.
  • Each mesh has its own material with some adjustable parameters.
  • If you're not very familiar with the shader settings, change only the parameters in the green frames, in the shader editor.
  • UV mapping is linked to the scale parameter of the mesh, thus by scaling the mesh the tiling of certain textures increases correspondingly. Therefore, DO NOT FREEZE THE SCALE TRANSFORMS, otherwise you will have to adjust the tiling by hand.

Just curious. You mentioned that the native file format is Blender, but the video demonstration displays UNREAL Engine. Are these assets also modular in Blender as well? Was this construction with Blender Geonodes?

Good question :) Yes, the video was indeed created in Unreal and it's here mainly for a demonstration of the asset combination possibility and the modularity purpose. And Blender file is indeed a native format of this product, with set up shader and textures, which were thoroughly replicated from the UE shader, hence the look of the final assets in both softwares hardly varies :) And no, there are no geonodes. Every asset, each of the 12 rocks, is a unique object.

Beautiful and realistic, and very reasonably low poly - as much as you can have and still capture the character of the rocks. Very versatile, a few rocks can look like many if you rotate and scale them.
