The cone glass is authentic and made after a viking find from Birka. The pitcher/bottle is made to fit this style.
The product consists of two items, a glass and a pitcher, each with a metal stand. Each model has been grouped and consists of two meshes: the metal stand and the glass item - this is also illustrated in the preview images from the included Maya scene. The **glass **consists of a total of 1992 faces (3796 tris) over the two meshes (glass and stand) which is a combination of triangles and quads in order to give the best possible look of the object. It has furthermore 3890 edges and 1902 vertices. The two meshes have each their own UV map for ease of use in game engines such as Unity.
The pitcher consists of a total of 3334 faces (6396 tris) over the two meshes (pitcher and stand) which is a combination of triangles and quads in order to give the best possible look. It has furthermore 6532 edges and 3196 vertices. The two meshes also have each their own UV map.
The meshes of both items are optimised for usage in games and other realtime applications, such as VR, XR etc. Both the pitcher and glass are modelled in two layers to simulate glass thickness and thereby achieve best possible glass effect. If this is not wanted, one can easily remove the faces inside the picher the to almost half the number of polygons of the bottle. If needed, I can do this for you.
The base meshes of the models are created in Autodesk Maya and exported to fbx, obj and mtl formats. Zbrush has then been used to create normal maps. The textures were created in Substance Painter and exported for both Unity, Unreal Engine and PBR in 4096x4096 resolution. In the product the following texture sets for both items (glass and pitcher) can be found:
If different colours of the glass and pitcher is wanted, you can easily edit these textures. Please note that the previews are rendered in Substance Painter with a glass material specific for Substance Painter. Therefore, the texture materials do not contain opacity information, and depending on your renderer of choice, the glass material may look a bit different. The Substance Painter rendering scene is NOT included in the product, nor the Zbrush scenes.
