DESCRIPTION

Stone tools are considered to be the first inventions of man. They are also the first design items: to the best of their ability, our ancestors tried to make them comfortable and ergonomic. Reflections on evolution inspired the designers of ARCHIPÉLAGO to create the chair 12° - 130° DARWIN: the concept was based on the shape of a simple stone axe. Deep seating and soft upholstery can create a feeling of comfort and coziness, regardless of the location of the chair - it will be a good solution for both public and domestic interiors. The name contains the coordinates and the name of the Australian town of Darwin: the oldest specimen of a stone ax was found there during archaeological excavations.Developed by architects of ARCH(E)TYPE bureau, Russia.
