Description

GAME READY DAMAGED DRUM BARRELS

by Ufuk Orbey (shadedancer619) / Made in: Cinema4D R14

This is a game ready model with low polygon counts and PBR maps. 5 individual objects inside the file formats. You can take and use any of them (or all) in your games.

You can easily see that there are 5 texture maps for each object which are DISP, NRM, OCC, SPEC and COLOR (DIFF).

I put one more file for every one, that is SOURCE PNG file. This is a clean color map of the boxes. If you want to use some dirt or text on the boxes just use this file via photoshop or other softwares to make a new PNG file.

For the first 4 barrels alpha channels needed. If you want some holes of course :) Last one has no alpha channel. Unlike others the alpha channel image is a JPEG format.

The sample PSD file -as a template- will guide you to make your own textures. It contains barrel 2 textures as an example.

HOW IT WORKS?

  1. Do not touch or delete PBR files. Keep them as they are!

  2. Open the xxx_SOURCE.PNG in photoshop and put texts, dirts, cracks etc. on it.

  3. Then save this file as xxx_COLOR.PNG. Never save the SOURCE file accidentally! Keep it for next time or forewer.

  4. All other files have rendered based on the SOURCE.PNG with no texts or other stuff on them. Because these things are only belongs to COLOR map. They will automatically deform via these PBRs.

  5. If you want some holes, cracks or any objects on barrels, you should create new PBRs instead of existing ones. Or you can let them as they are with no bumps, shadows etc.

  6. Only the SOURCE file contains extra objects in it (holes, cracks, some rust etc.) for the nice displacements.

OK! Thats all for now :))
