DESCRIPTION

This is a kit of realistic PBR 3d models for formwork in the construction industry. Included is beams, pillar mold or forms, foundation cement cast, beam cast and slab form assets with rebar. The focus is realism and scale.

Why this kit?

Formwork is different from scaffolding. Often, all construction is generically thrown under the scaffold banner with the result that it is difficult to get formwork construction assets. Artists ofte model their own. With this kit, you can focus on the art without worrying about the 3d model process. Spend the time where it is valuable. Scene building, environment layout, rendering or concept art.

What do i get?The kit consist of 76 unique modular 3d mesh assets. These meshes primarali service two categories. Vertical, in other words, pillars, walls, vertical prop used to prop up beams, formwork steel molds. The secondly, horizontal, in other words, foundation cast sections, slab cast sections, platfor for 2nd story slab casting,

Flexibility:

Materials are set up with masked ares to blend different Princapled BSDF mats together. This means more detail, tileability and control. An Ambient occlusion map then overlayed serves to ground the materials, making each prop feel like it has it's own custom material.

Basecolor, roughness, metallic, height, Ambient Occlusion or AO, Normal map included.

NORMALS:

Normals are good, shows blue in blender

FORMATS:

Blender Native , FBX, OBJ, GLTF, USD(the file works best with blender, as there are materil masks per object)( this is standarp practice for detail, in blender as well as in unreal)
