DESCRIPTION

This is a highly adjustable animated book built inside of blender 2.8. It is set up in a way that you could use it out of the box or use it as a scafold for your project needs.

Most of the book transforms are driven by drivers to smoothly transition the pages and binding based on the position of the armiture.

I hope you enjoy working with it. As a note, The blender file is meant for blender 2.8, and Won't open in blender 2.79 or older.

If you are having issues opening the file, or have any other questions on how to use/adjust the book or scene, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Project File notes
  1. The pages have 2 textures. One of them is just a plain page texture, and the other is a sample texture with an exerp or a shakespear play translated into hebrew.
  2. If you are trying to export out the model, Most of the blender modifiers must be applied. You could convert the modifiers to shape keys by exporting each object out as a mdd file, then reimporting them. I would have done this for the project, but it bakes all of the shapes removing all of the flexibility.
3. All of the book movements are transformed by the book armiture. To transform them select the book armiture in object mode and go to pose mode. The main bones to move are the controller bone, and the thickness bone.If you have more questions please send them to me and I'll do my best to answer as well as update the readme for future use.

If you like this product, it would be great if you left me a positive review for it online. If not, please contact me and we'll try to work out any issues you might have. It is fairly robust for what it is, but due to the complexity there is some artifacting at certain book positions. Most positions can be fixed with adjustments to the modifiers or drivers.

Thank you.

This rig/animation seems to be the result of CGcookie's tutorial. It's the best Blender book rig I've come across, but I'm not a big fan of the page animation.
