DESCRIPTION

2 types of craters - Ancient Greek pots for mixing wine and water.Made with Blender 2.8

Drinking undiluted wine was considered uncivilised in ancient Greece, leading to the development of a specialised vessel for mixing wine with water. At a symposium, craters would be placed in the center of the room. Servants equipped with smaller vessels would draw wine from the craters and pour it into the guests' cups.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krater

The two types recreated are: -the volute crater, characterised by spiraling handles;-and the calyx crater, named for its shape resembling a flower's calyx

Both items use a generic clay texture (not included) and are equipped with subdivision modifiers which can be tweaked to taste.I've also created a decorated version for each item by simply selecting different zones of faces and changing the material.

The .blend file also includes a small rosette that can be used as decoration.
